Get Involved

Hands UP Outreach relies on more than 30 volunteers to accomplish our goals and serve our students.  Volunteers can help in multiple ways - providing ongoing volunteer roles, volunteering for a one-time specific task or volunteering as a group to serve. 

INDIVIDUAL ONGOING VOLUNTEER ROLES

Tutor Assist students one on one or in small groups with preparation for the GED or HISET test by studying Math, English Grammar, Writing  with our provided curriculum. 

Teacher Teach a group of students in a specific class, class topics including: GED, HISET, Job Skills, Life Skills, English as a Second Language, Citizenship, Tutoring Children, Computer, and Finance.

Prayer Partner to pray for Hands UP Outreach each week.

Encourager (Mentor) Meet with a student for one hour weekly for a one year period, providing a listening, supportive relationship in which a student can discuss his/her personal goals and life situation.

Administrative Assist to help  organizational, and/or clerical duties as requested.
