Rev. Roy and Mary Callahan are co-directors of Hands UP Outreach, a ministry of Rankin County Baptist Association in Pearl, MS. Roy spent 24 years in the U.S. Navy. Together they ministered to military families during the Iraq War. Roy is an ordained minister and earned a master's degree in Christian education from Mid-America Theological Seminary. Mary has a certification is women's ministry from The Southern Theological Seminary of Louisville, Ky. Most important, they are grandparents to three girls and one boy.
Hands UP Outreach Christian Women's Job Corps (CWJC) and Christian Men's Job Corps (CMJC) of Rankin County is a non profit, faith based ministry where women and men in need are equipped for life and employment through Jobs for Life classes, computer classes, GED tutoring, Bible study and mentoring.
We also offer English As A Second Language (ESL), Citizenship Classes, and Tutoring Children.

Classes meet each week on Monday 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Tuesday 10:00am - 5:00pm and Wednesday, mornings from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Bible Study, GED, ESL, Computer Class and Career/Life skill training offered to students at this location
